Passenger car production figures
Globally passenger car production of 2.9 percent in 2014. While South Korea may loose market share, Germany had decent figures in 2014. India is becoming a major manufacturer of passenger vehicles: Vehicle producton quantity in India increased from 3,155,694 units in 2013 to 3,158,215 million units in 2014. It is worth mentioning that Morocco’s manufacturing industry grew by a a huge 43 percent from 2013 to 2014. The country, (which is in sight of the Spanish coastline), manufactured almost 150,000 cars in 2013, and circa 210,000 in 2014, creating about 40% of Africa’s total car production volume. In 2012, manufacturers such as Renault and Bombardier set up in Morocco.
